Established 42 years ago, Alliance Francaise Organisation team comprises of highly skilled and knowledgeable professionals. We all have a common goal – helping you Learn French.
The Alliance Française de Maseru is a non-profit making organisation which its goal is to teach French language and organize cultural events in Lesotho. The Alliance Française was established in Paris in 1883 by eminent figures of the arts, the sciences, and politics to ensure the influence of the French language and culture around the world. The Alliance Française in Maseru was created in 1981 and is the language and cultural centre of Lesotho.
It cooperates with the National University of Lesotho, the Ministry of Education and several local artists. Our teachers are French, Francophone and Basotho. We run courses for children of 1 years, up to adults! We also promote both local and international artists through concerts, exhibitions and many more events

The combination of regular conversations over zoom with follow-up homework is an excellent way of learning. And Learn French at Home is extremely flexible on content and lesson times, which makes learning that little bit easier.
Learning languages is not something that comes naturally for me. Fortunately for me, Raithule proved to be a pleasant and capable language instructor who was able to provide courses that were tailored to my learning style. He did this by focusing on topics of interest to me as well as discussing French history and sharing some insight into French customs. Merci beaucoup Raithule.
The 4 week professional course I took at Alliance Francaise Maseru was life changing. If you are serious about learning French, AF will be your best place. Teachers are very experienced, humorous, patient, and very organized. I learned a lot and practise this still today whilst studying in France. Highly recommended
