DELF (Diplôme d’études en langue française) and DALF (Diplôme approfondi de langue française) are diplomas awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the level of French-language skills of non-native speakers. It can be taken by people who want to study, work and emigrate to a French speaking country. Alliance Française de Maseru is the only accredited centre for DELF/DALF examinations in Lesotho.
